The complex character table of the linear group L_8(2)
is now available at:
http://www.fos.ut.ac.ir/~darafsheh
This table is computed by the following persons at the
University of
Tehran,Iran:M.R.Darafsheh,M.Khademi,K.Azizi and
M.H.Jafari.It was completed in December 2002.It is not
included in the GAP library yet,but one can get a
print of all the 246 irreducible complex characters by
using the above URL.The source-file of the table is
also available for those who are interested to do
calculations with the group.Any comments will be
