I hope this is an appropriate message for the GAP forum.

A former MSc. student of mine is interested in working on a PhD
in computational algebra, but neither she nor I have any idea of
which universities offer a chance to work in this area. She would
prefer to go to an English-speaking country, and is more interested
in the mathematical side than the computer science side (i.e., she
would definitely not be interested in working on something like
the GAP kernel, but writing library functions would be O.K.). Can
anyone give us some suggestions? Thanks.

Mark

Dear Mark, although I am not a computer algebraist as such but a
topologists she might be able to work at Sussex England. Get her to
apply for a prospectus if interested.
