I am using GAP on windows 95 but it has DOS interface .
Is there also a version of GAP with more modern windows user interface ?

I don't think it is possible as it is, as GAP on Windows
relies on Cygwin to interact with the operating system, and
Cygwin runs on 32-bit Windows only (that is, Win95 or newer).

(one could have ported GAP to run on djpp (and this on MSDOS), but
that's an effort that is better directed as something more urgent...)
