Our systems people have tried to install GAP 3.2 on an HP 9000/730 and
were unable to get it to compile. They gave me the following message:
> Specific problem is we are running hpux 9.0 and they apparently only support
> through 8.0. The program compiles without complaint and then hangs and
> causes a segmentation fault and dumps core when it runs. Sounds like a

We compiled GAP 3.1 under the old operating system last year with no
problem, but it won't compile now either.
