^ Subject: Re: Question of Chad Lower (OT)

Dear GAP-Forum,

Sorry for getting a bit off topic, but just after sending my last eMail:

Chad's eMail client forgot to add the lines

MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;
 boundary="----=_NextPart_001_0011_01C14CDB.42F84440"

to the mail header.

I remembered that I already have seen such multipart messages earlier on
the GAP forum. Looking through my archive of the forum messages I noticed,
that none of the messages contain the MIME-Version and Contents-Type lines
of the header (neither one part nor multi part messages)

It seems that software managing the Forum mailing list strips this lines
away before sending the messages to the users.

c ya
        Sergei
