Dear Colleagues:

The Math Department at the University of Auckland has just advertised a
permanent lectureship with closing date July 28. We would appreciate if
you can draw it to the attention of your junior colleagues.

We are particularly keen to attract people who have interests in  some
of discrete mathematics, computational algebra, and algorithm
development. Researchers with interests in computer science are very
welcome. We hope that the appointee will contribute to the development
of the teaching program shared jointly between Math and Computer
Science. Currently this covers discrete mathematics, logic, and aspects
of computer security.

See
https://www.opportunities.auckland.ac.nz/psp/ps/EMPLOYEE/HRMS/c/HRS_HRAM.HRS_CE.GBL?languageCd=ENG
for associated details of the position and method of application; search
for Job Opening ID 20813.

See www.math.auckland.ac.nz/research for details of our department;  and
www.cs.auckland.ac.nz/en/about/ourresearch.html for details of our
colleagues in Computer Science.

I am happy to provide additional information and to respond to informal
enquiries.

Best wishes.
Eamonn O'Brien
