Dear Members of the GAP Forum,
It is a pleasure to announce the new GAP3 share package
by Ulf Juergens and Gerhard Roehrle.
MOP is designed to compute upper bounds for the modality of the
action of a parabolic subgroup P (of an algebraic group G) on the
Lie algebra of its unipotent radical.
MOP can be applied if G has a simply laced Dynkin diagram.
Since MOP uses the CHEVIE share package of GAP3, it is not
available as a GAP4 package.
